Provenance: Private collection

Having lived at no 17 Willoughby Road with Geoffrey Rhoades at the beginning of  1934 by May of that year Mahoney had moved to no 3 Willoughby Road, and by December was working at The Studio in nearby 99 Southend Road, Hampstead.
